PH GT6 Champ season 3 - the Senna years

Chaps start date for new season will be 22nd June.

Format - 6 week champ - 2 races per round. Each race set to 45 mins. 10 mins quali or 1 lap. Tyre wear on very fast. All other settings (slipstream etc) as before.

Car 1 - senna f3 car - to be used for race 1 and quali on weeks 1, 3, & 5
Car 2 - lotus 97t - to be used for race 1 and quali on weeks 2, 4 & 6

Tracks:
Week 1 - monza 1980s
Week 2 - spa
Week 3 - Suzuka
Week 4 - silverstone gp
Week 5 - the ring
Week 6 - brands gp 1980s

Set ballast for each car TBC

Ballast for each round is:

F3 car
1st - 45kg
2nd - 35kg
3rd - 25kg
4th - 15kg

F1 car
1st - 75kg
2nd - 65kg
3rd - 50kg
4th - 30kg

Just had a blast at monza:
1'53.861 in f3
1'24.238 in f1

F1 race will be mental - it eats tyres and drinks fuel at a bonkers rate!

Lotus will be mental. Tyres lasting 4ish laps fuel just a tad further -

If any sets the room up remember to change the room to practice/endurance otherwise we can't run timed races

Also it only lets you run 40 or 50 mins nothing in between so we will go with 40 min races.

Norbs wants to watch the World Cup tomorrow. If that's the consensus then we postpone a week.

I'll be away the week after oversteer gets back.

Given the numbers I'm going to suggest that we can this until after the summer.

Between now and then maybe run some ad hoc stuff - maybe an enduro
Round or two?

If anyone up for it tomorrow I would like to run:

Race 1
4 lap at ring 24hr in stock RUF Yellowbird on sports medium (fast wear rate)

Race 2
12 laps at Spa in stock Evora on sports hard (fast wear)


If you want a challenge pick any of the GT3 cars (SLS, z4, r8 etc) but has to be stock. You can run racing softs.
The challenge is to beat the pole time set by the 12c at this years 24hr at the ring.

8min 10.921

Closet I've got so far is 8min 12 in the z4
