I used to play whole seasons in an evening when I got home from school. I'm sure my brother bought Ryan Giggs at Juventus on the Italia version and he scored 70 goals in one season. This was back in the day when Serie A was ultra defensive so you set up an attacking formation and blitzed the league. I think it was a 3-3-1-3 direct style of play used with the wingers pushing on.
Ahem, I've been playing this recently....Got Higgs at lazio, worth 11mil!

For something like £25 you can buy both C64 and Amiga Forever which is a package that will run the D64 and ADF files that the games come in on the internet. It's pretty awesome.
Also I have an Open Pandora on which I just completed Fire and Ice on the other day!
Stuck in the past, me.
Banshee was an utterly superb vertical scrolling shooter in the 1942/3 vain. Had the stupidest story ever. Inavading alien race murders Sven Svardnvart's dad for refusing to invent the microwave oven.
Only in the '90s!
