Hi,
Creating a separate thread for this so we can coordinate some online activities together
The club in-game is "PistonHeads" with tag "PHer".
atm I'm the leader as I created it...but tbh its *our* club, not *my* club so I'd like to add a few more people as co-leaders so more people can coordinate events Join the club, and either post your xbox live gamertag here asking to be co-leader...or message me on xbox live (my gamertag is 'shivars') with your PH username.
(anyone can join the club, but feels like we'd want genuine PHers to be leaders).
We can use this club to see who's on when, organise times for some online road trips, coop bucket list attempts, etc.
Edit: to be able to join the club you have to progress through the solo story enough to complete the first road trip (3 championships of 3 races each), do the "race the train" event, then drive back to the festival. once back there, the club screen comes up and you can join from there. after that you can get to it from the Club menu (which is unlocked from that point on).

tbh I went with open to avoid the faff of vetting who was in/out.
however - per original post - it our thing, not my thing, so completely happy to make it private - and/or split into two groups, if thats what everyone would prefer
however, its worth bearing in mind that everyone presumably joined for a reason; even if they aren't forum users they searched for, found and joined presumably because they had a genuine want to.
There's no club garage in FH2, no club-private events, no club-wide sharing of things. No visibility of which club members are online or not, or where they are on the map, or what they're doing - or any ability to join club members games. Indeed if you host a private game, you can't even invite club members in (only xbl friends). Its a bit limited tbh :/ There's not really anywhere people can be a dick or grief us or anything - no real potential for abuse. The only thing is bringing the fine PH name into disrepute by wearing the club tag and being a tosser.
Where am I going with this? ...does it matter if there are some randoms in?
but yeah - happy to make it private, or go for a two-club thing, if that's what people prefer
In other news, I'm online for a hoon for a few hours again in about 20mins if anyone fancies a blat. Had a great game last night with 3 fine PHers

its basically sets of 4 races, with a 'drive to destination for xp' mini-trip between each one. winner isn't first-past-the-line-for-points, but most-xp-across-all eventsits pretty fun

there is no 'club game' per se - as it happens FH2 clubs are pretty rudimentary. that noticeboard message was from a few days ago...but they can't be edited 
i made a bunch of people co-leaders...not sure if someone needs to be a leader/coleader to post messages or if anyone can.basically, use the club as the PHer tag...and so the game picks other PHers as drivatars/rivals/etc. actually racing together...its all done by friends, and direct invite from messages.
The club doesn't really add a lot to FH2 - i.e. there's no way to organise club-only racing, or any online club session.
however, being a member means the game/system prefers other club members' drivatars in your offline/online driving, including as Rivals. Also, it gets the PH name up the leaderboards
