Can anyone offer some advice on this at all?

Basically my Xbox One account is fine and can go online, download free games, etc etc as ive got the gold membership. My sons account is on the same Xbox one as mine and was fine yesterday but now it doesnt seem to recognise that he should have the gold membership as well.....cant get online and cant download the free games (basically takes him to a screen saying he should purchase gold membership for how ever x amount of months he wants. Anyone offer up some advice on how i can sort it out?

Ive had a google and cant see anything similar to the problem we have got. If some one does find something that i havent seen i apologise lol

No Andrew we didnt, we have been playing online and downloading the free games since Christmas on just the one purchased gold membership (which i put the code in for my account) and he had his own gamer tag on the xbox, I was under the impression that if you had the gold membership it was extended to all gamertags on the one machine? As thats how it has been working since Christmas for us smile

Thanks for the help guys, looks like he can get online but not download the free games, that apparently needs to be done on my main account and he can access them on his account. smile
