Forza 6 GT3 (ish) championship

I have the idea to run a small race season using some of the GT3 type cars, there are 10 cars around the R808 to 819 range listed below. Gonna keep it real simple, stock tunes, choose any car you like, if you don’t like a car change it I’m not gonna keep you to one car if you don’t like it, but try not to be obvious. If someone is a lot slower then the rest there are a couple of cars higher up the scale which could be considered as one off’s. Please note it’s the people who race that make or break a series so play nice and fair.

Ok then more or less the same as before, 2 races per night a sprint (approx 15min) and main race (approx 45min), sprint race to have random grid main race to have reverse grid 2 second delay, no damage but tires and fuel on for both. Lobby opens at 9pm on a Tuesday.
As said before cars to remain standard but tunes are allowed if you want to.

looks like we may have a race on.

for comparison i'm been able to do 15 laps at Monza before needing to pit for fuel, low 1:53's (clean) is my quickest so far, the merc is a handful just doesn't seem to have any grip.

Jeeez 1:55.3 is my quickest so far

Will prob be in the Audi R8 or maybe the Lamborghini as they are the best sounding.

i wouldn't worry to much, i spend more time spinning at the chicane or falling off the last corner. On the odd occasion when i put the lap together it goes quite well but most laps are high 54's to low 55's. The merc is one of those cars you drive at 90% and its feels quite good but as soon as you push beyond it cant keep up and you end up backwards in the gravel.

yes you should be able to rent one, check with forza hub first you may have rewards money waiting for you.

Had the same issue last night - you have to update your controller. It's in the console settings somewhere and will only take a minute or two to fix

Sorry Guys , i have been laid low with a stomach bug for a few days so not had much chance to get on. We will have another practice night tomorrow (24/11/15), it will be longer runs maybe 10+ laps to get a feel for the longer format. Then we will make a start for real 1/12/15.

No we will not do the indy circuit sorry, format will be 10 lap sprint followed by 25 lap main race, lobby will be open at 9pm. Race is still open to anyone who wants to join in.

Hi guys, right thanks to all who have turned up for this we have had some great racing which i have really enjoyed however i am going to have to postpone this now until the new year, work is very busy for me at the mo trying to get new offices sorted and working late into the nights etc and to be honest i had hoped for better numbers.
The extra time will give me chance to try to recruit some more willing drivers and sort out any lobby issues. I will not give up on this as i think the racing has been top notch so it WILL be continued in the new year with an extended season. Watch this space.
