I don't really know why I'm raving, I still have my PS2 and all it's games, but I would like to play them without having to unpack it each time (can't keep them out due to space issues). I always enjoy the old games and recently re-completed Gran Turismo 1. Only issue I found was that I could not play for as long as I used to as I've been treated to such lovely improvements in graphics they do show their age.
On the gameplay front though I wouldn't say things have come on leaps and bounds, although my penchant for racing games might make my view abit narrow-minded. However compare GTA: San Andreas to GTAV and its the details that you miss on the old one with the city feeling much more 'alive' now (Farcry also demonstrates this nicely, although that's just 3 to 4).
It's a shame that truely remastered games isn't really a profitable market, things like Shadow of the Colossus, GTA: Vice City, The Getaway with next gen detail/graphics but the original plot would be amazing.

Apparently GTA: San Andreas I coming to the PS3 this month on the PSN Store. It will have scaled up graphics to 720p and improved draw distance. Should be fun as to me it's still the pinnacle of sandbox gaming

who else liked midnight club 3?
meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee and 2. Both were amazing compared to that silliness on the PS3 version. I've got GTA: Vice City on the PS4 now and it's a pretty straight port so I am liking it as the original is my best game of all time. Thinking about getting San Andreas as well but not so sure, would rather than one had a graphic's makeover!
dnanananananananana pizza-man!!
