Evening all,

I have just purchased a Logitech g29 and looking getting a WSP but looking got ask a couple of question.

What is the min/max height the wheel can go,

What' is the height of the bar that comes up from the floor and the wheel connects to.

Thanks

Just measured mine and I'd not be happier going up more than 26 inches from the floor to the horizontal bar. I normally run mine at about 22 inches with a Fanatec CSW on.
Cheers pal, is that from the floor to the bit that tightens the 2 poles together.

Awesome, thanks for taking you rtime to answer such stupid questions. reason I ask is because I am using a beanbag chair at the moment as I don't have storage for a proper seat as such, is it quite stable still at 22inches, what will it be like if it goes slightly lower.

No worries.

The stability comes from the fact that your feet are planted on it with the pedals, so your heels are normally applying some pressure downwards. It's very adjustable, so I can't see you having a problem, it'll just take some time to get used to it and get the right angles dialled in. I'd say it will be more stable at lower extensions.

Saying that though, it does depend on how much force feedback you like to run. Personally, I use very little FF, having it set to indicate what is happening to the wheels/road surface (as much as the sim/game allows), whereas a lot of people seem to go in for the macho settings of 'a race car must have heavy steering, I need this to be giving me a workout' which can then lead to the steering wheel and whatever you've bolted it to trying to run out of the room. Horses for courses on that one, your preference may be different to mine.
thanks for your input here mate, I have hit the button and ordered from Wheelstandpro.co.uk now I am having trouble getting a nice calibration so it matches the wheel movement on Project CArs.
