I'm 26 years old and I used to love gaming. I'd spend literally hours each day playing games on the Xbox 360 and PC when I was 14 to 22 years. Now a days though I just don't get the same enjoyment or the urge to play like I used to. I will occasionally turn on the Xbox One for 30 minutes then it'll be switched off. I bought Battlefield1 2 weeks ago which is the first BF I've bought but I just can't get into it. Everyone seems to be so damn good at games which always takes away the fun from it when you get a score of around 5-15. I have bought every single COD game from MW to BlackOps3 and I was COD mad but now, nah.... Maybe I should give remastered MW a go and see if I can enjoy that. If not then I think I'm done with games... I want to enjoy them but I just get bored too easily with them!

Does anyone else feel this way about video games? I also have GTA5 which I bought on release day because I spent hours each day when I was a kid playing San Andreas messing around on the map. I completed the GTA5 single player in 3 weeks shortly after buying the game and I haven't played it since. Same with Halo5 as well...

I'd rather just browse the Internet....

Thanks guys. I think I'm going off the pure FPS games then. The only games I've ever bought has pretty much been Halo, GTA and COD. I got Forza as a free download when I bought my XboxOne but I find racing games even more boring!

Tomb Raider is probably a good shout and I'll look at Destiny as well which I have no idea about. I think next month I'll treat myself to COD remastered as a last ditch attempt at a FPS type game- if I can't get on with it I'll try something different.

By the way, the previous poster mention Runescape. I played that game for 6 years almost daily. I was basically addicted to it.

Also, is there much difference between Xbox vs Playststion gaming wise? I've got the XboxOne but I can't help but feel that the PS is more grown up? No? Or do you get the same amount of chodes gaming online as you do on the Xbox?

I'm sitting here now in my living room, TV off, dog curled up on my feed and my missus upstairs in bed. Years ago I'd be on the Xbox playing COD or on the PC playing Runescape (lol) but I'm sat here in silence browsing the forums with no desire to even play BF1.

Well I've caved in after watching some MWremastered multiplayer videos on YouTube. Click and collect at Argos so will be picking it up later this evening after work. Will take all night to download so hopefully I'll be able to play it on Sat.

I really hope I can enjoy this game once again- we'll see!

I picked up MWRemastered on the Friday and it's been downloading since Fri 7pm. It's done 26GB out of 45GB on my 1mbs connection. It's going to take till Tuesday.... 4 days after buying the game just to download and install!

Flipping brilliant! COD remastered has been downloading since Friday 7pm, it was on 76% downloaded 36GB/45GB I think it said. I've just checked it and it's gone! Installation disappeared! I've restarted the Xbox hoping it will find itself but nope- nothing! It's starting to download back at 0%.

What on earth happened to just putting in a disc and playing? A complete disgrace. mad

I'm happy to say that COD:MW remastered is fantastic and the MP plays exactly how it did back when I had the game in 2007. It really is brilliant to play. I expect a lot of people have their fingers crossed (myself included) for remastered MW2 and released as an individual game. They'd make a fortune!

I highly doubt I'll even play BF1 now.
