Just curious to find out whether anyone (here) actually did beat Tyson?

I didn't....

Games were harder back then...
And communication without the interweb was also limited to your own circles. No one I knew could beat him.

I didn't have a NES, was a master system child, but no doubt I would have left Tyson crying like a schoolgirl after having her hair pulled.
I dont doubt it Steveo

These are the NES ones...
On the Amiga page All the toher platform emulators are on the sidebar

I chose the top one [they are all rated ]

I'm onto the SNES one now - what were the best games for that????
Im currently in R-Type !!!!!!!!
I got the top one as well. Fast download, looks piss easy to use! Cheers.

Cant find Punchout though, not under M or P over at www.freeroms.com Edited to add, I found it on the second page.

Best snes game was debatably Street Fighter 2

Glass jaw my ass....
Try left and right jabs to the face, one left, one right, one left etc. Catch him off guard or try after youve dodged his attack. Should be able to get half a dozen his in, in a row.

When you get a star, press start to execute a power punch

One punch....
Im sure I could beat him up a bit, or last a round (cant remember) but if anyone is ever going to beat him its going to take one hell of a lot of practise. Key is watching for his shorts to flash. Tried him twice, managed to dodge a swipe but get knocked straight back down again
