NEED HELP - quake 4 isn't working

just installed it and try to play but all it comes up with is the loading screen and doesn't launch into the game.


plz help

(my pc should be capable of running it) (yes i have restarted since installing)

dowloading graphics card drivers, im pretty sure my directX is up to date.

doesn't get that far, all i see is the loading screen before the game is launched

and then it just says its not responding.........which is gay



also just downloaded the latest patch, which did nothing

reinstalled the game and downloaded directX 9

still won't respond

seems it just doesn't want to work, what other fps games should i waste my money on

does FEAR play online?
