Seeing as we all should be getting Black Ops in the next few days thought I'd start a new Forum to transfer to.

In other news my new connection seems ok. Sits around 6 meg and I got host with everyone else on 3/4 bars. hope it stays that way

To be honest Ive never enjoyed a treyarch game either but going to give this one a go, Ive heard from a few places though that headsets are useless for sound whoring as there is too much background noise

Just nipped home for an hour. played 2 or 3 games. First game got a 7 kill death ratio. Followed by a couple of lower ones

I did! I dreamt that I had been bitten and was slowly turning into a zombie. My eyes kept flashing and all sorts. As I was finally turning I had sort of a fit and booted the Mrs She wasn't so impressed with my story

I do like that the K : d is separated throughout the game modes.
Should be able to get a ridiculous K : d in team deathmatch and FFA.

I think I also spent more time pissing about with emblems and stuff.

The party system is getting on my tits in a big way though. Takes an age to get a party together.

Should be on tonight half 5-7 while the Mrs is out.

Nice. I've been in a few games with max 12 players and the computer has split the teams 7 v 5.

Nah this was 6 V 6. It killed 5 and then 2 of them re spawned into it

The jury is still out for me I reckon. I'd still say get it though for people like Tom etc.

Listening on a headset to people's footsteps...

I see, but isn't hearing footsteps part of the game (in MW2 it certainly is - give you an idea if someone is coming up behind you). Had this been missing in BO?

Yes. The footsteps in BO are near enough silent, Therefore negating the Ninja perk. They have admitted it was a problem with their coding and are rectifying it.

I actually quite like the sniping now. It is nearly always a one shot kill. And you need to more drag scope than quick scope I've found. I managed a few cheeky quickish scopes though
