Hello,

I have a jib for my DSLR as I do a lot of video work, the rig is quite light but with the counter waits it can get too much for the entry level plastic-y tripods that I have. I need something that can take the wait perhaps with a detachable head so I can mount it straight to the tripod frame or something. I'm looking for some suggestions on a good tripod to support a JIB please. I'm struggling to find something good.

Hi and thanks to everyone for the replies. I bought the Manfrotto 055 and it's first class, perfect for my jib and for the slider I have as well, sturdy and weighty enough for all my kit, I'm in love with it thanks for the suggestions smile
