External mic for Canon 700D

Chaps, I've had a Canon 700D for a few months now and love it and have been doing some video with it although the mic isn't quite the best so I need one that can be mounted on top, can someone recommend me a decent mic that won't break the bank balance please.

not saying this is hard work, but ffs this is hard work and you are in I.T ......

I thought Davidd meant he had a cheaper version, found one cheaper than that site on Amazon.
