OK, here goes. I'm looking for images that depict the mystique of life or the world we inhabit. So something that demonstrates the mystery of life or the world.
The image that grabs me the most and depicts mystique will be selected.

No problem.
It is a bit vague as it varies from person to person as to what shows mystery. It could be something that looks impossible but is totally natural - object, nature or being. It could be an image that gives an ethereal feel. Or a photo that shows a mystery of the current world eg The Celtic chalk men/ horses.

Wow. I had a hard decision to make. All good for different reasons. Thank you.

Chrismarr's photo of the starlit sky is my winner. It is a sharp clear sky which allows the mind to wonder at the vastness of space and the wonder of the stars and planets and leads onto the mysteries of the unknown in outer space.

Close behind were markmullen with the double rainbow. Which made me think about pots of gold and the mystery of the end of the rainbow. And PBLP with his misty landscape. What mystery is the mist hiding?
