Any D500 owners ?

Cant see a thread, so thought Id ask...

As a D300 user, it seems like a long delayed natural upgrade, and one I will be chasing in the very near future.

Just wondered what the PH togs thought about it ?

It does certainly seem to nail a few things the earlier models missed thats for sure.

Im pretty close to buying, and have actually rented one for a weekend so know what to expect.

The overall feel is very good, the fps is awesome, as is the AF ....

I think the 500 aces the 750 with better AF and more fps....

And if you have a bag full of DX glass the 750 becomes pricey.....

I quite fancy the 150-600c having rented a sport - found it way to heavy to be manoeuvrable in the way I like.

Not had real time with it yet, but Im sure its goiing to be good...
