Hi All,

I have been tasked with buying the mother-in-law a camera.

I have been her tech support for a long time now and want to make my life as easy as possible.

To say she is tech illiterate is an understatement, so it will have to be the easiest point and shoot available.

I would also like either a camera that has wifi built in or a wifi sd card that will automatically (or at least easily) upload images to her new laptop. I have had a look at the coolpix w100 and fuji xp90 as she will probably drop it at some point, but I don't know how easy it is to connect to a laptop (the blurb only mentions tablets or phones).
Any suggestions

Many thanks

Macbook, don't make me laugh. She can hardly drive a phone. Come to think of it she can't really drive.

I got her a cheap notebook, It has wifi, and a couple of usb ports but that is about it. And the only reason she is getting that is so she can skype her son in austrailia and go on to 1 or two web sites. End of. But her siblings decided that she should have a camera and asked me to get it (being closest). so I just wanted something easy.

I remember seeing the Eye-fi cards. And I was sure that they mentioned that they can automatically upload photos to social media or your HD. But that was some time ago and i wanted to know how things have progressed.

Thanks for the replies and I might need that six shooter as her next present.
