I am really pleased with that one and it's pretty much down to the tips I've picked up hanging around here for a couple of months

I had an unsuccessful day (or so I thought) taking dog pics at the weekend and ended up with a quite bland collection but taking a second look and having another go with ideas mostly from here I've definitely got a few keepers.

The one above is a very tight crop from this effort:

and with some mono-jiggery-pokery and a bit of a frame, it's a vast improvement

That was with the 18-70, not being as smart as I think I am, I left the big guns at home, but the full range will be taken next time cos I really could have done with the 70-200 on top...
