I'm just playing about with resizing images before posting them, so this isn't really a thread about anything other than testing what I've done

Er, this is a tree...

After mention of knobbly bits, men leaning over women, and knees, I'm almost afraid to post this one... it's Podie out playing

Can someone tell me please why this looks very un-crisp, yet when I enlarge the original it's actually quite clean?

the second one is really just a snap (sorry)

Yup, the novice factor I think - I need so long to think about what I'm doing that a static subject is much more forgiving to me

Now that is good, did you manage to get in any closer?

First one is my favourite though, if you want a couple of children to practice your portrait photography on just yell

I've only just graduated to taking the lens cap off before trying to take the picture, so I don't think that your girls should be subjected to me just yet!! How long can they sit still for?

Couldn't get closer to the ducks unfortunately. They did come nearer to the bank but they split up and started zooming about. That pic would have been cleaner with a tripod, but we were just out for a Sunday afternoon walk.

The best ones I got were of a group of lads playing footy. The ball went in the duck pond and a couple of them got in to get it back. It was freezing, and when they got out, their undies had gone transparent! I'll mail them to you!
