Draining Coolant

Hi all

I have had to change my otter switch, and thought I would change the coolant while I was at it.

I pulled the bottom radiator hose off and opened the expansion and reservoir caps. I have caught roughly 4l and a fair bit went on the floor I must confess. Even so, it seems a bit too little given the 10l capacity.

Is there any other thing I should do to release coolant, or is that it?

The heater is on hot - I'll check the sensor when it stops raining...!
