Need Cooling system lid for TVR S2

Hi Guys,

My TVR S2 is getting overheated during summer time in Spain and after having it all checked out it looks like I need a new expansion Cooling system lid. Not sure if this is the proper translation.

Anyone knows where can I get one?

I think I will order a new one from Ebay just to be 100% sure I have no more issues with the overheating.

Hi Philpot,

The other one seems to be OK. I had a mechanic to do full service/check on the car, clean radiator, cooling system and fix few minor general issues, I have also changed the cooling liquid for a waterless one and the Lid seems to be the only thing that needs replacement as the rubber was completely rotten.
As soon as I get the new lid will test the car again. Although now its not that hot anymore it will give me an idea if all is OK.

Hi phillpot, Griffinr,

I am not really sure as it is the mechanic who cleaned the cooling system, radiator ...etc. He replaced the coolant as well so I guess he did bled the system. Garage is specialist in classics cars in Spain so my guess is they did. Will confirm with them anyway later today.
