Anyone installed a boot pop solenoid recently?

Hi All,

I recently managed to rip the boot release lever from the steering column cowl on my S1.5 (doh!), so I'm thinking of fitting an electrically operated release solenoid as a replacement.

Has anyone done similar recently and could recommend parts or a kit? Any fiting tips would also be very welcome.

I'm now wondering if/how I can hook this into the alarm system so the little 'boot open' button on my fob actually works!
