pneumatic boot lifters

anyone fitted these? if so could you upload photos.

I've had a go and can't get it right.

Either too vertical they are aggressive and hold the lid up on one side and away from the seal, or too horizontal and pulls the lid closed.

May just leave as original with the boot lock spring when unlocked allows fingers to just access the underside and then lift to the fully open. (does the same with the electric boot open button as well as the manual cable)
