Hi All,
Just been on the internet and phone looking for the L shaped clips that retain the handbrake cable to the bracket. Any one know where to get them

Hi
It's not a P clip, its a spring metal clip thats fits a grouve in the outer cable that secures it to the bracket welded to the chassis

Hi Glen
It's a spring steel plate with a U-shaped slot in it that slides into place like a car door lock barrel retainer

Thanks Mike or should I say the Orical (do you throw darts). Will call at the local ford spares to see if they still have them.

Hi Mike
Don't think so, I know the way TVR did it was to run the adjuster in the other one and run the O/S cable outside the chassis using a piece of outer cable between the body and chassis.
I deceided to put the adjuster there so both cables are remobable from the inside of the car, there is a removable piece in the center dash for storage, it just pops out to remove or adjust.

Hi Mike,
On mine there were 2 brackets, one was inside the chassis (which I am using with the E clip)and one on the O/S outside where the trailing arm mounts, the cable had a extra piece of outside sheave where it ran between the chassis and body to stop the cable from rubbing, nothing like you have in the pictures, could be the way TVR did it.
I thought the 2 nylon nuts were there to lock it in place??

Alan

Thanks Mike, Will change it to how it should be
