Engine Sump - Chassis Crossmember Mod

Tried a search already and found only text.

Has anyone modded the chassis crossmember under the sump to enable the sump to be removed without pulling the engine?

Photos would be great.

My thoughts are some form of bolt in strut(s) but am conscious that the outriggers are aligned with the crossmember.

I think I'll make use of the round bar that is there but marry it with some rectangular plates. Things are looking tight for the 21st.
