S2 sold at Classic Car Auctions

I am afraid I do not have any details but the monthly auction report in Classic and Sports Car magazine refers to the sale by Classic Car Auctions of a 1990 TVR S2 in excellent restored condition selling for £9572. (incl buyers premium) That is pretty encouraging. Wish I could find details of the actual car.

That certainly must be the car. OK, 280 or 2.9, the registration could be quoted as one of a number of things. If it has just had £10k spent on it then it is a pretty special car. Have I seen the registration before? I know there are a few ALD's around.

I seem to remember Glenrobbo's car has an even more unlikely model designation, and a few others have commented about this.
