GAZ shock absorber

Dear friends,
I have GAZ shock Absorbers mounted.
But I can't find the right way to adjust
These.
I pressed the spring so, that the Alutube is for 7cm visible.
The Absorber is in the 10 of 18 Positions.
The car drives not very comfortable but it bobs 3 or 4 times
after a puckel on the Autobahn. Feels not very shure.
How I can adjust the GAZ in a right way?

By the way, the Roof is ready and now I look to install the Targaroof throuh the
wall off the trunk if the Roof is open.
