Morning all,

Pleased to note we have an S2 in the family now. Enjoyable drive back from Shropshire via many a B road. Few things are apparent, if anyone could shed a bit of light that'd be good.

Engine Mounts - What should I be buying here? Couldn't easily find anything.
Brake Discs - seem to have a fair bit of judder through the steering wheel on light braking from high speed. I assume this is discs related...? Worth just swapping them out?
Gear knob - Richbrook item was worse than just using the stick. I need a screw on gear knob, is it the same for all TVRs?

Some pictures:

Brilliant responses, thank you. I'll spin through those. Capri club engine mounts look the same and at £9 each are probably worth a go!

Thanks all - new to this bit of the forum certainly - although I've had a Chim for almost 6 years. =)

I've gone for the Capri club mounts as they seemed like a decent option but I'll report back, I may well need the other options if it doesn't bring the engine back to the right sort of position.

I did move quick on this one - saw it on a FB group Sunday and it was in the garage Tuesday night - 'accidentally' added 100 miles to the 170 mile trip in Shropshire, and a pub lunch in Clun. Really very cool.

Very different experience to the Chim - gear stick position and movement, and the morris minor clutch were interesting for the first couple of miles!

Few bits to do - want to check out the engine management a bit as it seems to be very sluggish to react to a throttle blip, and it's currently running with no IAC plugged in. Sure it will all come together though. Chassis seems to be rust free, goes well given a chance, and the interior is a nice place to be. Look forward to seeing some of you on the road - or at TVR CC stuff!
