S2 radio wiring

Hi chaps,
Just trying to figure out the radio wiring behind the dash - for the most part it seems fairly straightforward - somebody has used bullet connectors to splice in some ISO connectors.
Couple of odd things though - it seems there is a blue wire for antenna power. Is this an aux for power to an amp/aerial? Seems odd that it's wired in at all.
There is also a red wire coming from the loom that is not connected. Any suggestions? According to Steve Heath, purple/red and purple/brown are 12v and ignition (might be the other way round) so what is red for?
