Yellow connector - is my soldering iron big enough?
Discussion
Hi,
On the way home last night I noticed an electrical 'hot' smell in the car. Analysis today shows that the yellow connector is beginning to melt. I'm not sure yet whether I'll go for replacing with a 50A anderson connector or soldering the wires together. I notice reference in other threads on the subject to needing a big enough soldering iron. Please can someone tell me if my 40w soldering iron will be man enough for the task?
Thanks,
Ralph
