Hi All

In my trawling though the forum, I came across a mod to the throttle plate to take the dog leg out and make it a straight cut.

Can someone clear up what this mod is for? I take it it makes for a linear throttle progression, rather than having that 'little bit extra' at the end of the pedal?

If this is the case, I can see the benefit, but not what it was for in the first place! Was it TVR's idea of traction control!?

I would be interested in having this done, but would like to understand it a bit better.

Thanks

Anyone who has had this done, can you tell me where you had the work carried out? Also, is it a new plate made up, or modifying the old one?

Thanks

Samy came with one fitted. Bought a spare plenum which came with one so fitted it to the Reserve.

Alan461 offered to mod one for me. I have a spare banana one that I'm happy to pass on this spare to be modded to start a 'chain letter' of modded plates. As long as one comes back to me.

That looks very cool...!

Is there a possibility I could have one made up like that? It would be most appreciated.
