Whilst my exhaust is off the car I'm trying to decide what to do with it?
The exhaust doesn't sound good almost like a ringing noise so thought about this mod but I've been quoted a min of £60 each way to post it to Central TVR so the cost inc vat would be near the £300 mark.
Now ACT do a new SS exhaust for approx £587 but then I don't have the space or the inclination to keep the old exhaust and feel that it's a little wasteful just to throw the old one away.Plus I could do with saving my well earned for other necessities to finish off my restoration.
There is a SS fabricators not far from me but they have quoted approx £250 but that is dependent on if they have the right diameter tubing in stock to replace the baffles and I don't know what size I need or if they would do a decent job.
So what should I do ????

Thanks chaps for all the options and offers of help.
Decided to purchase the advertised replacement exhaust for as very reasonable price, I just hope that it doesn't sound like my old one.
If nothing else I will have a good stock of SS for Mike for his never ending quest to have everything shiny
Maybe I could start another topic for suggestions on what to make with an old SS exhaust and down pipes
