Hi all,

Just tried fitting the fuel line from tank to pump and realised why in the Steve Heath manual it mentions reinforced fuel hose. The angle from the tank to the pump is too tight for the thin cotton over braided hose I've bought and the result is that it kinks rather than keeping it's shape. I've also noticed that the old plastic pipe between the fuel pump and filter has a kink in it so a little worried it will restrict the flow of petrol or even worse fail completely.
So does anyone know where I can get the reinforced fuel hose that I believe is 5/8" or 16mm ID and what hose size will fit between the two banjo's between the pump and filter?

Thnks in advance

Just found This

Why oh why do I find what I'm looking for two minutes after I post on the forum rolleyes

Might be useful for those looking to replace their own fuel hose.

Still looking for the fuel hose between the two banjo's?

Would certainly have done the job Chris but thinking about where this pipe is and what it's carrying the idea of a reinforced pipe does sound safer

That semi-rigid plastic hose is not easy to work with. One option may be to cut it off the end fittings and replace with 5/16" - 8mm rubber fuel hose and appropriate clips?
Many thanks Mike just what I was wanting
