The old one measures 16mm across the flats. Could it be 11mm fine?

The one which came off had a white insert. So 7/16" UNF now on order. Thanks

I'll keep the metric ones in case the one on the other side is metric. Well, it is a TVR

Also a good point. But it is a TVR! and who's to say it's the original track rod end? I still won't be surprised if the other side is metric

No raised thread issues and it is definitely 7/16" UNF.





The only query now is this; when I tried to tighten the nut, the spigot(?) on the ball joint (the bit that goes into the arm on the upright) turned as well ponce the nylon collar bit. I put a jack under the ball joint so it was under a little bit of tension and the nut tightened up. Is this normal?
