I've been currently Re-making after market ones for the Wedges series of cars.
tvrchim500 was asking if I could make them for the S Series, I should be able too, just wondering if anyone ever made them before, also if anyone know the EXACT size of the holes in the walnut.
Also if anyone else would be interested in a set, as it helps with cost if I can make a few sets then I can spread the setup cost.
See example fitted to a wedge.

Hi,
I'm still interested but I am away from the car for the next seven weeks. I do know that the small gauges are not a standard 52mm as I have tried MGB bezels.
Yes I saw on the wedge section, just trying to find out some more info, and if anyone else is interested, as easier to make in batches of 3, plus saves on setup costs.I'm still interested but I am away from the car for the next seven weeks. My dash panels are away being refinished at the moment, hoping to have them back early next week. If you don't have the cut out sizes by then I will measure them before refitting.
Carl.
Thanks Carl, the more accurate the better, ideally with a vernier gauge or other internal measuring device.Carl.

The gauges on my S2 do not sit flush with the dash, the existing bezels are part of the clocks and would need prising off, this action releases the clock glass. Do your bezels wrap around the face of the clock with a lip on the back to hold in the glass ?
on the wedges the gauges are behind the dash the the bezels have to fit onto the dash not the gauges. looks like on the S they are completely different, if so I think there are after market bezels you can get to fit.I think this how the Griff and Chimm. are so maybe there bezels will fit.
Be nice to see a close up picture of an S dash to see if its like a Grimm or a Wedge.
Hi,
Those are totally different to the setup on the wedges, the clocks are the same, but they are outside the dash surface, same as the Grimm's.
I found these replacement ones

Hi Leigh
Defo interested in a set of the standard chrome bezels for the wedge. I did send a pm to your mail address. If you already know the wedge style price I could send you a cheque

Hi,
did anyone get anywhere with the clip over bezel after market solution for the S series dials?

I tried to get hold of a small and big gauge, so I could work out sizing and fittings, but did not have any replies, so gave up, there is only so much time and money I can spent for zero return. I guess have to wait for someone who is doing a restoration and really wants them.
