Thanks to Nigel (with the VW Porsche) I now have a super duper Garmin Sat Nav that does route files smile

Is this what I need to connect up and download files?

yep

I have the Barn Farm route on gpx if you want it
What's gpx?

Till I get a lead sorted guess the "files" are not a lot of use to me?

Me + technology? I just know this will end in tears (or the Sat Nav exiting via the window) wink

Thanks to Nigels instructions, a dodgy lead from Ebay (had to wiggle it a bit) and a little bit lot of help from my daughter I now have the routes to Classic Le Mans on my Sat Nav biggrin

any chance of a copy?
They're on first page of this thread!

GPX files are courtesy of Longers, you need to book with a reputable tour company wink

You'll need your own dodgy lead and daughter smile

I have the box and the lead, I will send it over when I get a chance. For info there i a user manual on line.

Nigel.
Hi Nigel, having a spot of bovver here, I suspect the Garmin doesn't like my "Ebay" lead, my daughter reckons brand name products can tell when you try and use a cheap lead?

My apologies if you did send the genuine lead and I've misplaced it but should you still have it I'd be most grateful smile

Mike.

Plan B: if anyone would be kind enough to load up the routes for me if I posted Sat Nav to you and I'll buy you a beer and get it back in Calais beer

Send it to me and I'll see what I can do.
Despite the "Taiwan" label I'm hoping this is the genuine article? If not Sat Nav will be in the post smile

PS Glen, I think by now I can probably just about find Dover and hopefully the man driving the boat knows his way to Calais!
