The problem with Garv

The problem is he runs lovely for miles and
then for no reason will cut out, sometimes when
going fast and sometimes going slow, it happened
again Sunday and I stopped and it seems to be missing
but still running,then will be ok again, have cleaned the pump connections
and got a new coil coming, any ideas please

Not at all, just trying to do the cheap things
before I phone Mat Smith, did think it was the
diode playing up but would it just stop ?

Yes all sorted now Richard new leads and everything
,did get water in but was a good once I put the roof
on, thanks for advice think I'll probably have to miss
barn farm and get it sorted before Le Mans

Fitted new coil and diode thing ( thanks
Mike I'm still saving up ) still the same
so had to fit the new petrol pump and bingo
seems good now only done about 15 miles in
a thunder storm so far, more testing tomorrow.

Hi Rob
The original problem was the air flow meter in the
end, gave it a good clean and been fine, I think
the other problem on the way home was the earth on
the battery had come loose it seems fine now
