Well as you can see from the pics below, the time has finally come to put the body back on...I thought it would be apt that I choose the 5th year anniversary yikes of it coming off...so have gone for Sunday 16th October...

If any kind souls out there would like to come and give me a hand - ideally the more the merrier (easier) it will be...

Anyone available please PM me for my exact address - I'm based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire..

Many thanks in advance smile

Cheers
Jaye

Yes Jaye,
It's only a hop, skip & jump from me, I have driven further to buy some black pepper!
Perhaps I could persuade some Nomads to help, some of them will be up for it I'm sure: scratchchin Nomads with gonads?

Tell Revlimiter to get the bacon & the kettle on: Yorkshire, mind, none of that weak insipid southern Jessie tea, eh lad?

What about asking the Rt. Honorable Tony's S.Yorks lot? Some of them know how to handle a teacup lad!

Will you also be hosting the "Dog it" van on the day? wink
Nice one Glen thumbup

Bacon butties & tea is an essential part of Sunday 'car work' so that's a yes smile

Unfortunately, the 'Dog It' van is no longer available - it's gone more 'upmarket' & 'subtle' now...also, unfortunately, Danny won't be able to make it as he & the dogs work at the weekends...

Cheers

Hi Jaye, sorry for being a late entry on this…. Are you still needing assistance for this weekend?
My plans have changed, so frees me up for Sunday (I could even bring along my son along who is much stronger than me!). If you have mustered enough bodies already, no worries - but it would be useful to see what you have done before it gets all hidden by fibreglass. smile
I’m not too far away, just a skip down the M1.

Hi Steve - no problem at all - please feel free to come over - the more the merrier (and easier the job will be) smile

Look forward to seeing you on Sunday - I have sent you a PM with my address & contact number

Hi Jaye,
I have been holding off volunteering for this in the hope that my back would be in a better state, unfortunately it's not which renders me pretty much useless for this particular task. Shame, I would have liked to see it go back on, especially since I was present for the removal.
Hope it all goes well mate, it's not too bad a task.
Good luck,
Carl.
Hi Carl

You'd be more than welcome to come over and 'Direct Operations' biggrin Be great to catch up & for you see to it put back on again smile

Well, fingers crossed, the weather is looking like the rain should be minimal...bacon (and sausage) butties & coffee (and tea) will be plentiful smile

Firstly a HUGH THANK YOU clapbowbowclap to Richard, Glen, Steve, James, Ray & Barry for all your help today...

So, first the rain tried to stop us...a bit of make-shift tent required...

Then after some great efforts by all - I'm sure there are some photos of all the hard work going on...but...the body is back on...

And finally back in the garage smile

Also, thanks must be said to Revlimiter for the butties & steady supply of tea thumbup

A bit of a re-arrange of the garage now required & then on with various further bits of work...but now hopeful of being back on the road next summer woohoodriving

Cheers
Jaye
