Can we really judge the car from photos ! What actually happened to going for a look! I spoke to the seller today and called round to see it as he lives not far from me.... he is open to offers, the chassis does look original however no holes! The pictures are not clear ... what looks like holes was actually dirt..He seemed a very genuine S1 enthusiast who has looked after it. Genuine reason for selling . If I can make some room I may just put a sneaky offer forward..
Well I'm not going to put off other potential buyers! This guy just wants to sell his S1. Again if people are interested then go have a look. I have seen the underside and will argue all day about your comment on visible holes. Yes of course with out taking the body off we don't know what disasters are lying underneath. However we all know and have been through the pain of sorting it out. That's what owning a S is all about.
