Thanks Richard, I hadn't clicked on that link.

Nice pic of Barry's old S1 smile Taken when the previous owner had it I think his name was Charles?

Also some interesting cars in the background at some if the show photos. I can see a Jowett Jupiter? ( at first glance I thought it was a TR 2 ), but what is that little white Sprite-sized convertible next to the ?Bentley?

Probably. But with mostly male petrolheads it would be lacking in glamour. frown

Sorry Niiige, no can do I'm afraid. frown

They all refuse to have anything to do with me after that incident at the Much Hadham Womens' Institute 'Gathering Peascods' Autumn Spectacular in the village hall.
Shame, it was all going down very well until the vicar caught us 'in flagranté' and then slipped on the Mazola. After the ensuing mêlée in which there were frantic attempts to extricate him yikes, it was left to the Fire Service to clean up the aftermath.
A sorry tale, in which I can honestly say I was just a victim of circumstance.

Perhaps you have suitable contacts?

Yours as ever,
Nelge.

Dear Neeege,
I live in hopes that one day the truth will out and I shall be completely exonerated. It did not help my cause when the saga was ( wholly inaccurately ) reported by the sensationalist paparazzi press in the Hertfordshire Constabulary's periodical 'Ello 'Ello 'Ello magazine Spring 1952 issue.

Anyway, I cannot confirm or deny any links to secret S Club Burlesque types.
My lips are sealed by the oaths we swore together in that dimly-lit run-down bar somewhere just near the wharf.
But I do feel that if you were to show a keen desire to be initiated, all you have to do is buy some appropriate kit:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Jelinda-Adjustable-Non-sl...
and contact M. Antoine de Bourne at your earliest convenience.
Who knows where this path may lead you...?

You may even enjoy it! wink

Yours as ever,
Elgne

Hi Tim wavey
The Vicky referred to was Peter Wheeler's wife, not Ms. Butler-Henderson.
( I'm sure the latter would have appreciated the gift of a nice S4c far more than Mrs. Wheeler apparently didn't. )
But thanks for the gratuitous pic. wink
