Bonnet catches

could anyone enlighten me as to what was the source of the bonnet catches or where i can get some...TIA

The problem is...I bought the car as pretty much a wreck,there is no locking mechanism, the only things that are there are the sprung pins bonded to the bonnet ( which appear to have rippled the bonnet moulding ! ) there are no 'latches' to retain the pins or any release cables , so I have no idea what I need or where they go.....seriously considering Aerocatches !!!!

I have an S290 1989..there appears to be absolutely nothing other than the obvious holes the sprung bonnet pins drop into !
