S1 boot catch and spring

Gents l have looked at the alternative parts list but could not see what I need, I am wanting a new spring and boot catch.

I will take is off this weekend and have a look what can be done. Ta

The catch is not in a bad state, so I will restore it.

A quick question, the boot is taken off by the 2 bolts either side. I have taken the nuts off both of them. But cannot shift the bolts. Is there a nut sucken in the fibre glass?

I think they might be seized as I put a lot of weight behind the ring spanner and nothing moved either side.

A soaking in plus gas it will be and another go.

it will be a respray when she is that far down the road, i will do a drawing of what I have found.

I will also start a post of restoration soon, I know you gents appreciate it.
