Flick the single pole double throw switch to go back to standard set-up
If you don't like a switch mounted to the front of your knob you can use a floor mount switch and use your foot

I had drawn a similar circuit with a switch that was mouth operated but when trying it out my teeth started to wear down

Another idea I came up with may offend some people so I apologise in advance. A small pressure pad switch could be held between the drivers buttocks and a simple clenching of the buttocks would dip the lights
