Hi All, quick question.

I'm trying to remove my brake master cylinder, and want to split the resevoir off from it first (mine is the integrated cyinder/resevoir type). As far as I can see, it just pushes onto the cyinder. However, it won't budge, and I'm going to break something soon...

Can anyone tell me is there a technique for doing it at all?

Cheers

Cheers for that - out now. I just needed to be a lot more brutal with it...!

As Phillpot says, I'm having it all apart to change the servo cheers. This will make the 3rd year running I've messed about with the brakes and had to put new fluid in. No water in my brake lines...!

I think I'll buy a seal kit for the cylinder, but I'm not looking forward to putting the reservoir back at all...

I've actually taken the cowardly route after all that and sent it away to be refurbed, as it was much mankier when I finally took it off the car than I at first thought.

More money....!
