Expansion Tank Relocation

I was thinking about relocating the expansion tank to place it next to the swirl pot.

Has anyone done this or something similar ?

Also, I'm wondering if the expansion tank, based on it's original position, needs to be located higher than the top of the swirl pot ?

Any comments welcome.




Obviously, the paper bracket will be replaced by a shiny stainless item
