Bonnet catch

Hi, managed to get out in my 1988 S1 on Sunday as it’s first outing of the year.

After about an hour of driving I noticed the bonnet looked like it wasn’t shut fully and bouncing.

Turns out the catch decided to become detached from the bonnet. I think the nut has just worked loose and I have luckily still got catch part with the spring on it. Does anyone know what size nut it should be?

Thanks both. It’s not an m8 and I don’t have any m10 handy so will try with a spanner to check. Although, I am now wondering if the top of the bolt has sheered as that picture looks much longer. Need to go and have a look.
