All Done, I coated in paint stripper to remove the top coat,then rubbed the undercoat off with a finishing block down to a fine grade , then a couple of coats of clear laquer.
Look much better than the the chipped off wood effect.
I had put the job off as I thought getting the door panels off would be a nightmare, but in fact it was very easy.
My original dash has had the wood removed some time ago and a silver "vynil" (SP)has been added, which has been done well and now the door trims match, superb !
