I have just removed my chipped "wood" door trims. I want to remove all traces of the wood effect. What the best way to remove, can I use a paint stripper chemical ? I have tried scraping but dont want to damage the trims. Any suggestions ?
Thanks

All Done, I coated in paint stripper to remove the top coat, then rubbed the undercoat off with a finishing block down to a fine grade , then a couple of coats of clear laquer.
Look much better than the the chipped off wood effect.
I had put the job off as I thought getting the door panels off would be a nightmare, but in fact it was very easy.
My original dash has had the wood removed some time ago and a silver "vynil" (SP)has been added, which has been done well and now the door trims match, superb !
Cheers for you respones
