There is some confusion regarding the column mounted switches and possible replacements

The original indicator/horm/main beam switch has the horn switch operated by an flexable link from the button. Havent recorded part number sorry, see below:



While the newer type (as supplied by New Ford Parts has the switch under the button and a pair of wires going to the switch body (part number 81AG613B302AA). This can be a direct swap both connectors and fitting identical to original but with a shorter hazard warning switch and the indicator arm is closer to the dashboard, see below:



There are two types of light switch around, see below:



The one on the right is the original and the one on the left a common replacement again currently available from New Ford Parts. If you fit the replacement type is is a straight swap for the original EXCEPT the light switch arm needs heating and bending towards the steering wheel to avoid fouling the dashboard.

Original type part number is 83BG11K665BA, replacement VO32031(?)
