The TP has started going again. I think.

can someone tell me what and where the TP is. ideally with a picture.

Past threads suggest I disconnect it to check that it's failing. How do I do this and how long can I drive it with this 'bodge'.

Finally, is the part readily available from Ford dealer and can I fit it?

Bear in mind I'm completely useless under the bonnnet and very, very stupid.

I need to learn this, so don't take the pish. Thanks.

Great.

anychhance of someone digging outa pic. so I can put it in 'get me home' mode'. I can't get to a garage for a week, so I can't compare the part to find it.

thanks again.

the trouble with all teh previous threads was teh level of 'techie' wording. I will never know where the plenum chamber is, but a nice pic showing the black thing that I have to unplug is perfect.

It shoudl be an FAQ, every new owner is goiing to learn about teh TP the hard way.

Thanks for all your help though. I'll probably spend the evening unplugging all sorts.

If unplugging doesn't affect it that much, why do we need something that fails so often?
