Favor on Electric Mirrors

Hi! I have been driving my S2 (only bought it in Oct and put it away for the winter) few more miles now the snow is gone and the salt has washed away. I have come to the conclusion that for a very small car it has a ton of blind spots because of the sh**y side view mirrors. I would like to put on electric mirrors. But not by bringing them from France or the UK. Too much money. Favor please! Would someone with electric mirrors and a digital camera please take some picture close up etc so I can see the shape and the way they are mounted etc. Thank you in advance.

I would like the dimensions. Please. I’m still interested in a picture, again I’m in Canada and I can’t get some of your stuff. Now, if they are Ford, I stand a better chance. I did today saw a car (Pontiac Bonneville SSI) early 90’s with mirrors that look like the ones I have seen in pictures. I’m interested to see the angles of electric mirrors on the S series car doors.
So they call those Sport Mirrors. So far the only sport I see, is trying not to be killed by a transport truck in one of the many blind spots.

Thanks Guys. John M sent me some pictures to. It is a big help. To see where and how they are mounted I can now go to the Auto Wreckers and have a look at what will fit. It just has to warm up again. Any other ideas will be researched.

I now find myself walking threw parking lots looking at mirrors. I think I found ones that look great and should fit. You in the UK can get them easier than I can because you will have more of them. Have a look at the Audi TT mirrors. We don’t have many in the wreckers here I’m sure but I will start looking.
