I regularly see big trucks loaded with Caterpillar artics (massive dumper trucks to me) on the A67 heading out of Darlington then turning towards Staindrop in Teesdale. I can see that Cat have a base in Peterlee but does anyone know why the vehicles take this route?
Thanks for the info. So John Dickinson are holding these Cats at their yard on the Winston-Staindrop road ? Pending onward transportation to the docks.
